Commercial Solar for Lancashire Businesses
Cut your building’s electricity costs with rooftop solar. Buy it outright, spread the cost with asset finance, or take a power purchase agreement with no capital outlay at all.
Solar that pays for itself
Any business that uses electricity through the working day is a strong candidate for rooftop solar. Warehouses, factories, offices, farms, cold stores and retail units all use most of their generation on site as it is produced, which is where the value is.
We survey the roof, model your actual consumption from your bills, size the array to match it, handle the DNO application and deliver the installation and commissioning with our own engineers.
We are MCS certified and our performance figures are prepared to EPVS standards, so the numbers in your quote are calculated the same way every reputable installer should calculate them.
What we handle
- Roof, structural and shading survey
- Consumption analysis and array sizing
- DNO application and grid paperwork
- Supply, installation and commissioning
- Generation monitoring and ongoing maintenance
Three ways to fund it
- Buy outright – you own the system and every unit it generates from day one.
- Asset finance – spread the cost over a fixed term so the repayment sits against the saving. We will put the available terms in front of you in writing.
- Power purchase agreement – a funder pays for the system on your roof and you simply buy the electricity it produces at an agreed rate. No capital outlay.
Finance and power purchase agreements are subject to status, credit checks and the funder’s own terms.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions answered
As a rough guide you need six to eight square metres of clear roof for every kilowatt of panels, so a 50kW array needs somewhere around 300 to 400 square metres. The survey confirms exactly what your roof will take once shading, orientation and structural loading are taken into account.
A funder pays for and owns the system installed on your roof, and you buy the electricity it generates at an agreed price for the term of the agreement. There is no capital outlay, but you do not own the asset and you are committed for the contract length. We show you the figures side by side with buying outright so the choice is an informed one.
Most of the work happens on the roof with very little effect on the floor below. The electrical connection needs a short planned shutdown, which we book for a time that suits your operation.
Most commercial rooftop solar falls under permitted development, but listed buildings, conservation areas and larger ground mounted schemes can need an application. We will tell you which applies to your site before you spend anything.
Yes. We size and lay out the installation so storage or charge points can be added afterwards without reworking what is already on the roof.
