What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government funded grant that helps homeowners in England and Wales move away from fossil fuel heating such as oil, LPG, gas or old electric systems.
The grant is applied for by your installer, not by you, and it comes straight off the cost of your new system. There is no waiting to be paid back and no forms for you to chase.
As an MCS certified installer we design the system, submit the application and complete the installation from start to finish.

You need to own a property in England or Wales and be replacing a fossil fuel system such as oil, LPG, gas or older electric heating. Your property will normally need a valid EPC with no outstanding recommendations for loft or cavity wall insulation. We check all of this for you before you commit to anything.
No, the scheme funds low carbon heating such as heat pumps. If a new gas boiler is the right answer for your home we are Gas Safe registered and can quote for that separately.
Often yes, although some radiators may need upsizing to run efficiently at a lower flow temperature. Our survey tells you exactly what is needed, with no guesswork.
