Solar Panels for Your Home
Generate your own electricity, buy less from the grid and take the sting out of price rises. Own the system outright or spread the cost with Hometree Finance.
Is your roof right for solar?
South, east and west facing roofs all work for solar. What matters just as much is shading from trees, chimneys and neighbouring buildings, the condition of the roof covering and how much electricity you use during daylight hours.
We survey the roof, model the output against your own bills rather than a national average, and prepare the performance figures to EPVS standards so you can compare our quote fairly against anyone else’s. Installation is MCS certified, which is also what you need in order to register for an export tariff.
Finance is available through Hometree Finance if you would rather spread the cost than pay up front. We will set the options out in writing alongside the outright price so you can see exactly what each route costs you. Finance is subject to status and the funder’s terms.
- MCS certified design and installation
- Performance estimates to EPVS standards
- Battery storage ready, now or later
- Export tariff paperwork handled for you
- Generation monitoring from your phone
- Workmanship guarantee on every install

Frequently asked questions
Your questions answered
It depends on how much electricity you use in daylight hours, what your roof can take and the tariff you are on. We model it from your own bills instead of quoting an average, and the estimate is prepared to EPVS standards so it can be compared like for like.
Yes. Panels generate from daylight rather than direct sunshine, so they still produce on grey days, simply less than in bright conditions.
Not necessarily. A battery earns its keep if you are out during the day and use most of your electricity in the evening. We size and lay out the system so one can be added later if you would rather wait.
Yes, through an export tariff with your electricity supplier. We give you the MCS certificate you need in order to register.
Most homes are completed in one to two days, including a short planned power interruption while we make the connection and commission the system.
