Government backed schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and the Energy Company Obligation exist to help households cut their energy use, lower their bills and reduce carbon emissions. What is available changes over time, so we confirm exactly what you can access before anything is booked in.

ECO

ECO stands for Energy Company Obligation and outlines strict targets from the government, placed on the largest fuel suppliers.

The list of people that qualify for government grants for homeowners has been extended to include other benefit categories – meaning even more people may be able to access funding.

A certain set of criteria must be met in order to qualify for a government grant in line with ECO4. If you are a homeowner, landlord or private tenant and you (or your tenant) are on qualifying benefits then you are likely to be eligible for support.
You do not need to be the homeowner to benefit from ECO4 funding. With the permission of your landlord, and if you claim benefits, you could still apply for a grant.

Alternatively, if you are a landlord and your tenants are receiving qualifying benefits perhaps you could encourage them to apply. This would have the dual benefit of helping to keep your tenants warm and happy whilst also improving the energy efficiency of the property for years to come.
If you are not on benefits but you are in a low-income household or your home is not energy efficient then you may still qualify for some form of funding. Contact us today and we will help you to unlock any available funding due to you.
Contact South Rings Energy Ltd today and one of our friendly team members will guide you through the process. We may ask you some simple questions about the heating and insulation in your home. We may ask you about the EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of your current boiler and the energy efficiency rating of your home. Based on your suitability, we will then arrange to visit your home to assess what energy efficiency measures would be best for you and confirm whether funding would be granted.
